Carmen took over the sideline hosting gig for Battlebots, which was previously taken by Tracy Bingham, Donna D'Errico and Heidi Mark. Carmen hadn't heard of the show before her agent called her with the offer, but she mentioned it to her Dad and learned it was his favorite show so she decided to do it for him. Carmen's involvement certainly brought the most attention to the show- she was constantly mentioned in all the promos and the opening sequence. According the Comedy Centrals senior vice president of original programming and development, Debbie Leibling, Carmen worked the hardest and was the most impressive, overall. She's even been signed to do the 5th Season.

 Unfortunately, there will not be a season 6 of Battlebots, due to low ratings. You could kind of see how desperate they were durring season 5, the way they put Carmen in skimpy clothes and constantly had her shaking her booty for the camera. It was just very different from season 4, where she seemed like a genuinely interested reporter. There hasn't been much evidence that Carmen was anywhere near a bot durring season 5.
